The mining industry is transforming towards sustainable, decarbonized operations with smaller environmental footprints. This paper presents an approach for autonomous hauling vehicles in hybrid mines, using a ROS 2-based architecture and deep learning network. The vehicles are tested in simulation and real-world experiments.
